Armenia to participate in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015
This year the authoritative Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will be held on November 21 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Public Television of Armenia has officially confirmed its decision of participating in the contest. This year the First Channel will conduct an internal selection of the Armenian representative and song. The participant’s name will be announced on July 1.
The contest will be held with the slogan #Discover. As the representative of the Public Television of Bulgaria, Executive Producer of the contest Joana Levieva-Sawyer says, juniors reveal the world and their dreams every day. “Through the show we want to create for children an opportunity of revealing a new world. We have also invited the winner of the Junior Eurovision 2014 Vincenzo,” said Joana .
This year the contest will be held in Armeec Concert Hall, which was built in 2011, and will host 8 000 viewers. Beloved artists Lady Gaga, Sade and Tom Johns have performed here.
To remind, representative of Italy Vincenzo had been recognized as the winner of the Junior Eurovision 2014, Bulgaria’s representatives Hasan and Ibrahim had occupied the 2nd place and Armenia’s representative Betty – the 3rd place.
