Eurovision song contest

AlternatiV Band was formed in 2015 at the Armenian-Russian University. The band members are Sargis Burnazyan, Alen Amiryan, Karapet Burnazyan, Areg Petrosyan and Harutyun Karapetyanov. The band’s name has no connection to their music genre. At first, the band only covered famous songs, then started writing their own. In 2016, they successfully participated in X-Factor. In May 2017, they had their first solo concert at the Armenian-Russian University. Currently the band is participating in the contest 7 Notes Music Challenge by Serj Tankian.

“I took my first steps in music during the last year at school: I was organizing concerts with my friends. That was when I found out that my younger brother Sargis, the vocalist of our band, could sing. A year later, my brother and I started performing at the university and became known as Burnazyan Brothers. Later, other musicians joined us and we founded AlternatiV.”

“I have many hobbies. I especially like swimming, I also write scientific analyzes on international relations and politics.”
